Second only to the provincial government, The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation is the largest funder of The Credit Valley Hospital.
On November 30, 2011, The Credit Valley Hospital officially merged with Trillium Health Centre, becoming the largest community-based academic health network in Ontario.With the ongoing and tremendous support of a vibrant and engaged community, our role continues to be to provide much-needed funds for the Credit Valley site, ensuring that our hospital remains at the forefront of quality community health care.
The Credit Valley Hospital is the designated regional centre for oncology, paediatrics, renal dialysis and genetics, providing specialized care to over 1.5 million residents. The hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the province, currently treating more than 87,000 people per year.
